Here's something different from what I usually make.

The history behind this picture is that it was made as a request from a friend of mine. Her instructions were to create a picture with her in mind, like creating a character based on her basically. And this is how it finally turned out.

For this piece I took the opportunity to practice with ink and brushes so this one is traditionally made, only with slight adjustments in Photoshop. Gotta get back to the brushes soon, it's a lot of fun!

Cyberlady

So here we are, new blogger kinda sort of and still learning Blogger so the page will look as good as possible. And now for this first post I thought it'd be apropriate to show the "Cyberlady" here.

Now this picture I created back in 2010. I started off with scetching the face while on a train. I had an idea, but half of the work was mostly for passing time on the trip. However as I scetched other ideas came to mind, like "what if she was an android or something like that?", and after that there came the cables for hair, circuits and other fun parts in the head and I played with the concept back and forth during digital painting. Lastly I applied the cybernetic prosthesis holding up the head and there we go. Done. Far from perfect, but I think I did pretty good.
